How eligibility works

The Canada Revenue Agency maintains the authoritative list of medical expenses eligible for tax purposes, which also guides what a health spending account can reimburse. Some expenses qualify outright, others only with a prescription or written certification, and some do not qualify at all. Use the search above to look up a specific expense.
