Coverage cost calculator.

Employees rarely see what their benefits are actually worth. Enter the rates from your carrier's rate sheet and this tool works out each benefit's monthly premium for you - volume, tier and unit rate handled - then turns it into a summary you can share with the employee. They see their benefits, the total value, and their share, all in one clear view.

The calculator needs JavaScript, which is turned off or has not loaded.

It works out each benefit's monthly premium from the volume, tier and rate you enter, splits it between employer and employee, and shows the employee's cost per pay. Nothing is sent to our servers; a shared link carries the summary itself.

Why it matters

Benefits are a significant part of total compensation, but employees usually see only the deduction on their pay, not the full value. Working the premiums out by hand is the tedious part - a rate per $1,000 of life volume here, a rate per $100 of monthly LTD benefit there. This tool does that arithmetic from your rate sheet and turns it into a summary an employee can actually understand: what they have, what it is worth, and what it costs them.

When employees understand what their benefits are worth, they value them more, and administrators field fewer “what am I paying for?” questions. Showing that value clearly is good for everyone.
